Mackenzie River

I have been in search of a Dogwood flowering tree by the Mackenzie River for quite some time. There were no flowering tree’s and i was almost ready to give up. I saw a little path and thought i would check it out. Down the path was this intimate display of just one branch of flowering dogwoods. It was a lesson in just letting it be and knowing that my photo was just perfect even though not what i had in mind.

The dogwood tree's branches sway gracefully in the spring breeze, adorned with delicate white blooms. Sunlight filters through, painting dappled patterns on the river.
